Jared Fralie

About me…

I have lived in Animas my entire life so far, and plan on living here after I graduate, and maintain all of my businesses.  (I received the Chapter Agribusiness Award for the 2001-2002 year, and received the State Agribusiness Award in June of 2003.)  I enjoy doing community service, and feel that it only takes one, and sooner or later, there will be more helping out.  I like to write grants, which is how I plan on starting some of my many business I plan to have.  I enjoy spending time with my family, and love to spoil my three nephews:  Chris, 13, Ryan, 6, and Bryce, 3. I also like to design houses for fun, and have thought about being an architect.  Well, I will stop here before I bore you on my life, and achievements.

The following is a questionnaire that the chapter officers were asked to complete.  This is how Jared responded.

Q.  Why did you decide to become a member of FFA?

A.  I wanted to expand my leadership skills, while competing in events.  I also felt FFA would give me a new and exciting challenge.

Q.  What is your favorite part of FFA, & why?

A.  My favorite part of FFA is the trips, because there is always something new, and you get to meet lots of new people.

Q.  What do you think a leader is?  What makes a good leader?

A.  I think a leader is someone who is always ready to accept a new challenge and responsibility.  A leader is not necessary someone that people look up to, but someone who leaves a lasting impression, even if it the smallest.  To be a good leader, you need to be honest, friendly, and always ready for change.

Q.  What do you wish to accomplish be being an FFA member?

A.  While in FFA, I hope to increase my leadership skills, meet new friends, be successful in competitions, and be an officer for most of my FFA career.

Q.  What are you hobbies?

A.  I enjoy working on my computer, operating my businesses, spending time with my family, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and traveling.

Q.  What does FFA mean to you?

A.  FFA means a lot to me.  Without FFA I would not be the successful businesses man I am to day.

Q.  What are your future plans?

A.  When I graduate from high school, I plan on attending college, and obtaining my degree in Business Administration and Business Law.  I also plan on owning several businesses, which I am already creating business plans, and writing grants for.
