This is a very special announcement. A long time Tarot collector (that many of you may know from various e-lists) is selling more than half her treasured trove of Tarot decks and books. Each deck and book wants a home that loves and admires Tarot.
Amongst the collection are several collectibles. For more information contact:
ParsifalsSister@mac.com , or ParsifalsSister@yahoo.com. Ladies and Gentlemen, I have seen this list, and it is incredible! I have placed two orders already (as finances permitted), and the decks (adn books) were well packed, and arrived in good condition (with all cards accounted for!). The holidays are coming up, when we are all looking for gifts for others (and should think about gifting ourselves!). This is a wonderful opportunity to find a home for some incredible Tarot resources. This kind of opportunity does ot happen often. May you each find that which is meant to come into your life. A few little hints here. In the low to moderately priced category, we find the Vision Quest tarot, the Golden Dawn Tarot, and the Cosmic Tarot. Slightly more pricey are the Londa Tarot, the Carey-Yale Visconti Tarochi Deck, and the Visconti Sforza Tarot. In the OOP (out of print) or collectors range, we have the Knapp-Hall Tarot, the Merlin Tarot, the Vertigo Tarot, and the Rock and Roll Tarot. There is a lot of prime material to choose from here. Don't be afraid to gift yourself, or to send this promo on to someone that you feel might be interested in it!
In my wanderings, I came across a site called Femail Creations - art and other items done by women artists. It is a very inclusive site, has reasonable prices, and a wide range of beautiful items. If you need a moment of peace in your day, visit www.femailcreations.com.
In Kris Waldherr's latest newsletter, the wonderful news that work on her revised "Book of Goddesses", officially entitled "The Book of Goddesses: Expanded Anniversary Edition", is almost finished, and is due to come out next year. An excerpt from the first chapter of her "Lover's Tarot" novel can be seen here: http://
www.artandwords.com/museo/lptarot/novel.html. A website has been created for her "Lover's Path" Venice in Brooklyn book launch party here: http://www.veniceinbrooklyn.com. More content will be added soon, including downloads of Venetian masks, and party information.
Julie Cuccia-Watts has finished her latest project - the MAAT Tarot, a look into the dark side through Tarot. Her work can be seen at www.newmoontradingco.com.
A new to me site that is an eye-catching place to spend a few minutes is www.juno-lucina.com.
Read what Tarot author Corrine Kenner has to say about Tarot journaling at www.tarotjournaling.com.
Exciting news from the Magic Realist Press - a new Tarot deck is here! The "Fairy Tale Tarot" (by Alex Ukolov and Karen Mahony, with artwork by Irena Triskova) can be seen at www.fairytaletarot.com. A combination of familiar and not so familiar fairy tales, filled with both the light and the dark sides of life, this is a stunning addition to the work done by Alex Ukolov and Karen Mahony, which includes the "Tarot of Prague" and the "Baroque Bohemian Cats Tarot". Tarot wise-woman Rachal Pollack has added her energy to the project in the writing of a very insightful foreword, which can be read on the site.
See the new listings under "On Line Divination Sites" for Kris Waldherr. Oracles have been developed for both the Goddess Tarot and the Lover's Path Tarot. Tarot Art Calendar is now available. This is a limited edition (less than 100 copies) calendar done by artists Arnell Ando and Leslie Cochran. For further information, see: www.arnelart.com/frm-main.htm. A review of this calendar can be seen here: www.angelfire.com/nm/spiritualwarrier/index.804.html.
Good news - the limited edition (and long OOP!) Transformation Tarot (By Arnell Ando) is going to be re-issued as a deck/lwb combo by U.S. Games. Look for this deck in Fall of 2005 or early Spring 2006. This is a deck that I do not have, and would love to own, so "Yahoo!". It will not be exactly the same as the original issue, as some of the cards have been done over, at the request of U.S. Games, but it will be a pleasure to own!
There is a very special series of classes being conducted by Ruth Ann and Wald Amberstone of the Tarot School during 2005. Entitled "Intuition and Imagery", the teleclasses discuss the imagery in the Tarot (the Rider-Waite deck specifically), and how to place it into a reading. These are interactive classes, held once a week for a two hour time period. Each session consists of four classes, with a two week spacing between each session. I attended the January/February session, and it very much expanded how I view the cards. I missed the February/March session, but picked the classes up again with the April session. (The first class was on the Moon - and there are cards that I was not even aware had the moon in them!) I have decided to do an ongoing review of the classes - somewhat of a review/blog, which could end up being very interesting! The blog can be seen here: Intuition and Imagery I hope that you enjoy the blog, and that you decide to join in the classes! (To see when the classes are being offered, click here www.TarotSchool.com/Seminars.html).

Each month I try to bring you news and interesting links from Trionfi.com, a Tarot and card history site. This month I ask that each of you visit this site (http://trionfi.com), and see what site owner Huck (autorbis) has to say. The site needs financial help to maintain its identity, to continue to be able to offer the wealth of information that it offers. There are several different things under consideration, including a possible book, and site sponsorship. Please visit, and give Huck your feedback.
From Tarot visionary Winter Wren, we have Tarot boxes - made to order, lovely works of art. You can see the box that she made for me here: www.tarotbox.com/TarotBoxes.htm Wren also makes Tarot bags to order (I have a to die for Harry Potter bag!).
Spread: Thanksgiving I love the fall colors, the leaves falling, mother earth readying herself for a quiet time. This is my time of year - spring and summer for me are simply tolerated, while fall and winter are times of true joy. What sustains you during this time? What brings you joy? For each of us, this will be a different thing, but for each of us, there will be something that shines into each day. I was very pleased recently, when shopping at the local grocery store (part of a very small chain - a place where everyone knows everyone!). They are thinking ahead - and offering a very nice way to put together a decent Thanksgiving dinner for an economical price. In one inclusive package is your choice of a turkey (8-10 pound hen) or ham, a five pound bag of potatoes, turkey stuffing, a can of large pitted olives, a can of corn or green beans, brown & serve rolls, and a pumpkin pie. yes, these are store brands, but this store's brand is quite good, and the price is only $20.00! What a nice gift to the community! The past year has been a difficult one, with both human-created casualties (acts of war/aggression/terrorism), and natural disasters. The business of living our daily lives has become more costly, in terms of frayed nerves, in terms of expectations, and in terms of finances. We have to search deeply for that connection to our inner self, to the spirit within. We need to take the time to look deeply at what we need to be giving thanks for. Perhaps to start with being thankful that we are still here, that we have shelter, food, and work to sustain us. My gift to all of you is the following spread:
3 4 1 2 5 6
1. What am I consciously thankful for? Wishing each and every one of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy each part of this day (the good food, the good company, the good entertainment), and allow it to nurture you as you give your thanks.
On-line Divination sites: In cruising the Internet I have found several on-line divination sites - both Tarot and non-Tarot, that are both fun and worth spending time with. Some of these sites are for specific Tarot decks - and I have to say the art is stupendous! It makes me feel glad to be alive, and more than happy to be part of the Tarot world. I hope that you enjoy these as much as I am:
