Gateway is a personal site review of sites that I feel may be of interest to my readers. This month I am reviewing MoonLily: Science, Spirit, Home and Family . This is a very personal site - very reflective of it's author's sense of life and what is important. There is something for everyone here - from home/family to children, spiritual journeys and Tarot to science/science fiction.

The overall sense of what this site is - it's for adults (parents/grandparents) but about children. It expresses opinions, but gives facts, places to go - the *help* that one might need. In it's own words, Moonlily is about: "Exploring Inner and Outer Dimensions".

The site is nicely broken down into areas of interest. In Nanny's place we find resources for parents/grandparents who are raising children. There is an information center for those who choose to breastfeed, a great deal of information on child safety re the environment of the home, and a free monthly newsletter.

In the On-Line Birth Center we see birthing addressed as a natural, spiritual event.

Under Free Stuff, we have another newsletter, this time focusing on a variety of topics and things that are free.

In The Chariot we find a section on Tarot with deck reviews, spreads and an interesting section on learning the minors, as well as links to sites with further information.

In Spirit Speaks we find information on the exploration of personal spirituality. Aside from the literal information given here, I found the guidelines very interesting. Submissions are welcome here, from any faith or form of spirituality, as long as the positive is accentuated. What a nice way to screen out those who only want space to rant! (And a Blessing for those of us who find no need to listen to those rants.)

In Magical Journeys we visit the imaginary world of fiction, and the "rites and beliefs surrounding magic" as practiced here on earth. This is a wonderfully wide open section, open to submissions as well. Included here are personal experiences, poetry, chants, spells ... a wide variety of human expression.

In Science and Science Fiction, we find links to science and science fiction writers sites. One thing that I found magikal about this section was the emphasis on resources for children.

A visit to this site is a journey through a very gentle, yet powerfull land. Please visit here. :)
