Some Not So Interesting Facts About Yours Truly


I am 22 years old. By the way, my name is Stephanie. I was born in a place called Clear Lake, Texas --right outside of Houston. My birthdate is September 6, 1979. (So don't forget to send me a present---or at least a card.) I've lived in New Mexico since I was 3 years old. I grew up in a Methodist family, I've been saved for about 4 years and I love my life with Christ. Read my testimony. I am a Senior at New Mexico State University. GO AGGIES!!! My major is Communication Studies, and I haven't decided on my minor yet, I'm thinking either Linguistics or Women's Studies.

I got married. on August 11, 2001 to a wonderfully sweet and handsome guy named Ben. :-D

What else do you wanna know?


I enjoy playing sports such as volleyball, softball, roller hockey, rollerblading, swimming, snowboarding, skiing, golf, biking, bowling(is that a sport?), pool (sport?). & I took a Tae Kwon Do class a couple years ago, that was really cool. I am now a Yellow belt....WAHOO! Even broke a board with a front kick. Probably couldn't do it now if I tried. But anyway.....Dancing. I like dancing. Mostly country and latin... I'm not to swell at swing, but I try. I also enjoy seeing movies. My favorites right now would have to be "The Outsiders" and's "My Best Friend's Wedding". I enjoy listening to music...all sorts. My favorite bands are The Beatles (of course)and Jars of Clay. I also like Garth Brooks, Ed Cash, Justin McRoberts <--he rocks, Burlap to Cashmere, and Shania Twain.

Oh ya, I collect Pez dispensers. I have about 100 of them right now.(Check out my photo album to see a pic!--One of these days I'll put a more recent one on. Yeah, right, I've been saying I'll put a new picture on here for years.

I drive a red '84 convertable 5.0 Mustang. Sweet Chickens! Picture also available on my photo album. But I think I'm gonna sell it real soon....been saying that for years too.


I was involved in Young Life during high school and I loved it! I went to 2 summer camps (Windy Gap, NC and Woodleaf, CA) and one winter camp (Frontier, CO). They were tons of fun! During the 2000-2001 school year I worked part time for Young Life as Student Staff, cool job. Right now I'm taking some time off. I am also involved in Campus Crusade for Christ. I've gotten to know a lot of people through it, learned a ton, and have had a lot of fun. I went on a Summer Project with Crusade in the summer of'99 to Wildwood, NJ (where I met my husband) ...and God rocked my world!! More on that later...

I have a 8 year old Golden Retreiver back home. Her name is Annie, and she is a very smart and playful dog. Click here to see her.
