ADD [Attention Deficit Disorder]

Treatment:: 'Ritilan'
About:: ADD, or Attention Deficit Disorder is a learning disibality, impairment, whatever you prefer. It strikes lots of people (More than you'd think). It's not the same as dystlexia (They thought I had that too). With dyslexia you generally put things backswards. I don't know for sure.
They put me on a drug called Ritlan, which is a form of concaine, actually. Some high school/college students will grind it up and sniff it like a drug. I didn't take it. I dumped it down the sink.
I hate ADD and I don't know for sure why. Well, for starters, everyone generally said that the kids who got special help or were in turtoring were 'stupid.' Not true. I'm living proof of that. [ha] No, really, it's not true. Sure, I can't spell for shit, but not everyone with a learning disibilty is silly/stupid/'dumb.' The thing is, people are so quick to assume that we are. It drives me nuts! 'Special Education,' in my opinion, is a politically incorrect term. We're not special, just not perfect or anything. I remember a teacher used to give us word banks when the 'normal' kids didn't have them. In the room we'd call them the 'retarded' versions. Sorry if you hate the word, it was just what we said. I resent that. I resent it a lot.
Anyway, at the beginning of seventh grade I made my mother pull me out of the program because I told her I didn't need it. That was the end of that.
