Is it just me or have you noticed how expensive Olympic pins have become? When I first started collecting, which was some time ago, most sponsors would happily send out at least two free pins just for the asking....then, if you were not lucky enough to get what you needed, you could always find somebody willing to part with one for no more than 1 or 2 dollars...now sponsor pins are harder to come by and if you do find one, it starts out at about $9.99. This is totally not what the Olympic pin trading experience started out to be. Shame on pin sellers who are in the business of gouging collectors. Because of people who make a living buying and selling pins, sponsors are reluctant to send out freebies....sellers are EBAY have gone nuts with their pricing. What we true collectors need to do is start saying "NO MORE". We should stop buying pins at these expensive prices....Every time another Olympics comes around, pins seem to get more and more costly...where will it all end? Long time collectors, such as myself, will no longer be able to afford to keep up their collections.....

I am no longer posting photos of all of my collection as it was taking up too much space. If you would like to see any of the pins I have from ONLY Winter Olympic Games, beginning with Garmish, just email me and I will try and send you scans.
Since most of my pins are singles, I would not be interested in trading those away. Whenever I do find duplicates which I will trade, I will post what is available.
