MVMAC is a model club dedicated to having fun flying and building miniature aircraft. Although R/C pilots are the largest group, strong participation in Control Line and Free Flight still continues. At club meetings, show and tell might include a fun-fly plane and a peanut-sized indoor rubber ship.  Members often have a chance to fly indoors at the PanAm building during half-time at a NMSU basketball game.   October brings the challenge of the annual C/L contest with participants traveling from all over the southwest on Columbus weekend to enjoy flying and competing with some of  the best.   The first Saturday in November is our annual fun-fly for R/C.   Free Flight contest is scheduled The last Saturday in October. Our club auction is the second Wednesday of December.
