Hi, My name is Nancy and now I am Retired I have the time to catch up on all those exciting challenges that I didn't have the time before. My first challenge was to learn to drive this computer. I took the bit between my teeth and went to TAFE (Technical & further Education) I was the oldest person in the class, but must admit the youngsters were very helpful. I came away confused with all that DOS information. Just as well for me at that stage, Windows 95 appeared, and DOS could become just a memory. Why do we older retired people take the challenge and try to become computer literate, and then even have the cheek to go on the Internet. I have accepted the challenge and I am determined to master both. This has really opened my eyes as to how little I know, but as the saying goes, "you are never to old to learn." My interests include Genealogy, Handcrafts from the bygone days. I also share with Neil (husband) a love for AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY MUSIC. We collect it and we play it, this is probably what keeps us sane. PS. The names I am researching are CHURCH (Stoke Talmage England) and CANTELL (Middlesex England) both families left for New Zealand in about 1850.
