About Us

We thank you for stopping by! We want to let you know a little bit about us: How we came to new life in Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6); and also how we plan to serve the Lord in Italy. I, Massimo, was born in Naples, Italy by an Italian mother and an Italian-American father. I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when I was nine years old with my mother and sister because of my parents' divorce. When I was eleven, I started to drink and smoke marijuana. I lived a life of hedonism (partying) my entire teen years. I got to the point, when I was twenty, that sin wasn't even fun anymore. I had no hope, no purpose, no truth. I was miserable and no amount of alcohol, drugs, parties, etc. could satisfy the emptiness I felt.

One day I received a flyer for a documentary on Rock music, called "Hells Bells," from a Christian perspective at a local church. I said to my friend, "Let's go see what the stupid Christians have to say, then we can go to the bars afterwards." I just wanted to witness what I thought was the lameness of Christianity and hopefully see a few good clips of my favorite bands (Rock music was a major part of my life).

As I watched the video, I realized that it was not what I had expected. It actually made sense. The video compared and contrasted the message of the music and the lifestyles of the musicians with the message of the Bible and the life of Christ. I realized for the first time that the influence of Rock music brought a dead-end, lies, and death. God opened my blind heart to see that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). I realized that I was a sinner and condemned by God for it. I realized that God loved me enough to send His only Son to die on the cross for my sin so I could be forgiven and have eternal life. I believed that Jesus rose again from the dead, is alive, and is coming again to rule. I accepted God's gift of salvation by faith and repented (turned away) from sin and self and turned to Jesus as my Lord and my Savior. He changed my life instantly. I had no more desire for partying and living in miserable sin. I had true joy and peace which lasts to this day, eight years later.

You too can have this new life by admitting that you are a sinner who has violated God's Holy Law, that God offers you salvation because He has sent Jesus to the cross to die in your place, and accepting this free gift by faith. Let us know your decision!

Kimberly also had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Her father died of luekemia when she was very young. She also was involved in the party lifestyle and, after one of her best friends died in a car accident, she began to attend a Bible study with some friends. After many debates and questions over a period of months, Kimberly, at the age of twenty-two, accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized with several friends.

We met at a church in Albuquerque and were married in Sept. 1995. I felt the Lord calling me into vocational ministry in Jan. 1992, only nine months after my salvation. Kimberly and I graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1998 with our B.A.'s in pastoral ministry.

Later we moved near Los Angeles, California where I studied at The Master's Seminary, where Dr. John MacArthur is president. After serving full-time for 3.5 years at Grace Church of Napa, California in evangelism, assimilation, and young adult ministries, we decided to do some further seminary work at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. I also maintain an internet teaching ministry for training Christians in the Christian worldview (www.frontlinemin.org).

While we lived in Los Angeles, Kimberly served as the Client Services Director for the Pregnancy Resource Center of the San Fernando Valley (www.prcsfv.org). This is a non-profit, Christian ministry where they not only provide counseling and other services to women, but also present the good news of Jesus Christ! After serving there for nearly four years, Kimberly is now a homemaker and mother to our three children, and partner in ministry.

We now reside in Española, New Mexico where Massimo serves as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Española (www.fbcespanola.com). We have also been recently appointed as missionaries to Italy with WorldVenture (www.fuelingfaith.com). We are currently seeking to develop a team of ministry partners to support our ministry in Italy.
