6/9/01: Ok, it's summer and I'm definitely getting lazy. But you can't blame me since we are on hiatus from the Panthers season and not much is going on. But I did a little surfing and found this question from sun-sentinel.com. Of course it's Mike Russo answering the question but I approve so I'm putting it on the page.

Q: Do you think Marcus Nilson is better suited to play center instead of left wing? Marc Bergevin, Claremont, NH

A: "Marc, do you double as a Pittsburgh Penguin? Actually, I think Nilson's much better suited as a winger. He's the type of player that excels when he can play close to the wall and bang and go after the puck. He didn't have as much of an opportunity to do that during the few games he played at center, where he was expected to patrol more of the open ice. He's also much more comfortable on the wing. As he said to me in Montreal last week, "I only played some center when I was a kid. Some nights I won 60 percent of my faceoffs. Other nights I won 20." For a kid that's been one of the few bright spots this season, I don't foresee the Panthers messing with that."

(And they better not, that is unless they want to send him here to NC along with Worrell) =)

As far as website updates and news, I am using a friends computer so I will be adding some stuff here and there. I accidently deleted half of the news section..whoops!! It must be this computer but it wouldn't let me add an article from tonight's game. I figured maybe there was too much stuff on one page, so I cut half of it intending to put it in the archived news and then realized it wouldn't let me paste it back on!! Don't worry I saved the information, I'll just have to put it back on when I unpack my own computer. =)
