Agent West is kidnapped by Dr. Loveless and replaced by a surgically altered henchman made to look exactly like West. The henchman is sent to recover atomic secrets from the government, but is discovered when he tries to fool Artemus Gordon. With Agent Gordon on the trail, West is soon freed, but the West lookalike is also on the loose, leading to much confusion.
