| It's hard to tell Tokiya Mikagami's story without giving the entire
plot away. After all, the entire story of why he wants to fight revolves
around his past. Anyway, Mi-chan (as we fangirls call him) first decided to learn how to use the Hymon Ken when his sister was murdered by a few men. He and his sister believed that they were attacked for his elemental weapon, the Ensui. Mifuyu (his sister) did not know what the Ensui was, she had only treated it as a good luck charm. On her dying breath, she gave the handle to Mi-chan and told him to take good care of it. Mi-chan and his sister lived alone, and so, at the tender age of 7, he went to learn the Hymon Ken off one of the greatest teachers around at that time, Meguri Kyozan. Mi-chan had gone through some serious trauma, and now, he devoted his entire life to avenge his sister. And so, the story goes on. One shall not tell you who the murderer is, (yes, we do find out in the end) nor shall I tell you how he got to know Recca and the rest, but Mikagami was persuaded to join Urabatousatsujin only because he believed he would find his sister's killer there. Dying to know more about Mi-chan? Read the manga, watch the anime (which won't tell you much) or click on the other links below. |
Being as kawaii as he is, Mi-chan naturally has a few
character shrines around on the net. One of them is the Ensui: A Mikagami Tokiya
Shrine. Another is Tokiya's
Ice and last but not least, I also found Still Waters Run Deep. Do
you have a Tokiya shrine as well? Fill up the form to
nail me and tell me about it!
