Fuuko Kirisawa means, literally, "Wind Child Foggy Swamp". Or something to that effect. Anyway, "Wind Child" fits, because Fuuko is the wielder of the incredible Fuujin (or "Wind God"). As for "Foggy Swamp"... well...

Anyway, we first see Fuuko as an extremely jealous hood, (to quote Shakespeare) who flares up at Yanagi 'cos Yanagi is Recca's Hime and she isn't. Before Fuuko came into possesion of the Fuujin, she uses throwing darts which are really very lethal. She attacks Recca and Yanagi one day on the roof of their school, but later lost, 'cos Recca pulled one of his dirty Ninja tricks.

As you can tell, Fuuko got very upset with the turn of events, and this is when Kage Houshi comes in with Fuujin, with a mind-controlling device as its core gem. The original gem, the Kaze no Toma, had been lost a long time ago, but with the help of a few more smaller gems on the Fuujin, the Kaze no Kadama, the Fuujin still worked. And so, using Fuujin, Kage Houshi made Fuuko fight Recca and Domon, which resulted in Fuuko nearly losing her life.

After the fight, all was well, and Fuuko and Yanagi became very good friends. Talk about fickle.

The Fuujin
The Fuujin The Fuujin is an armband of sorts which looks very nice. Smack in the middle is a space for the core gem, the Kaze no Toma, to be put, but since it was lost, the power of the Fuujin comes from the smaller gems in it. These gems are the Kaze no Kadama. Once they are gone, the Fuujin has no power.
Kazumi no Tsumi With the use of "OniTsume" as her core gem, Fuuko is able to use the Kazumi no Tsumi. This enables 3 wind darts to appear from her Fuujin. They can be used when still attached to the Fuujin, or can detach themselves to shoot out at the enemy. They can be controlled by Fuuko's commands. First used against Fujimaru.
Kaze no Kadama The Kaze no Kadama appear as a kawaii little fox-like thing when Fuuko takes them out of their spaces. This creature has a mind of its own, and is able to attack using the Kazadama or "Wind Ball". However, after one gem is used, it cannot be used again, and is lost forever.
Kazadama The Kazadama looks somewhat like this and is very powerful. Able to blow up next to anything.
Fuujin Kamatachi Another of the moves of the Fuujin is the Fuujin Kamatachi, or the "Air Cutter". This acts like a blade of wind, allowing Fuuko to slice through things. Different from Kazumi no Tsumi in that this is a whole blade instead of 3 darts.
