Kagerou, also known as Kage Houshi, is the mother of Hanabishi Recca. Recca: Oi, oi! Spoiler alert! Raydance: Aw shucks, you find that out in the first 5 books! And if you don't know it by now, you SHOULDN'T be here! I mean, come on, you came here to find out a little more than "Kagerou is Recca's mother", ne? Recca: Whatever. Anyway, Kagerou doesn't appear friendly at first. She tries to "kill" Yanagi, and instigate Mikagami and Fuuko into fighting Recca. Which is why Recca's mumbling about spoilers up there. Anyhow, Kagerou did this time warp time warp thing, which is why she's here, even though Recca was born about 400 years ago. Don't get it? *lets out puff of air* Okay, in opening the time warp, Kagerou basically set herself up for doom, because now, she can't die. She's immortal, and in the anime, she can't even touch Recca. Why did she open it up? There was this war going on, and instead of allowing her child to die, she would rather bear the curse and allow him to live on in another time. Touching, ne? *wipes away a tear* Well, yeah, that's her sob story. So now, Recca's looking for a cure to her curse, so they can all grow old and die together. I think Kagerou's stuck at an age of 16, correct me if I'm wrong. But that's just her physical age, her mental age is like... I don't even want to think about it. She's also the resident Madogou Master in Hokage. Which means she mostly knows what's going on when a new madogou is whipped outta nowhere.

Kagerou
	Kagerou uses the Eikai Ball which enables her to have an awareness of what's happening around her. Sorta. If she knows the place and can concentrate on it, she can use the Eikai Ball to see what's happening at that point of time. Sorta like a crystal ball, except more so.
