Welcome to my garden, or better yet welcome to my world, or at least as much of it as I can share on a website. Feel free to pull up a wicker chair and kick off your shoes while you visit. I hope to offer you a respite of provocative thinking, good literature and intelligent conversation.
If you tire of the outdoors, or if you find the wind a bit harsh against your face, feel free to retire into the Library where I house my collection of favorite literary links.
In the spring of 2001 I realized a lifelong dream to go visit England, Scotland, and Ireland, and am pleased to share my on-line Britain Trip Journal .
I am a writer, and as such I offer you some exerpts from my two completed novels, VALERIE'S SONG and THE RELUCTANT BARBARIAN .
I would be remiss to open my garden to my guests and not offer to share the most wonderful gift that anyone could receive, and that is a relationship with Jesus. The cool thing about this gift is that it is open to all regardless of race, background, past deeds, or sorrows. It is not an easy thing to accept that gift and to give our entire lives over to Christ, but I have found it to be the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. I can't force anyone to believe as I do and I would never wish to, but I can share a little of my testimony and try to express what Jesus has meant to me. As Christians we are commanded to take the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world and to make new disciples. That doesn't mean everyone is going to accept what we have to say, but to present the gospel was one of Christ's commandments. On a more personal note, I would wish for everyone in the world to have the happiness and joy that Jesus has brought to my life. I humbly offer you Life's Greatest Treasure.
Anyone who has seen my site is aware of my fascination with King Arthur. My husband and I actually visited the court of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. Well maybe it was all pretend, but it was a lovely evening nonetheless. The name of my husband's krewe is the Krewe of Excalibur and we attended their 4th annual, 2005 Mardi Gras Ball--A Knight in Ancient Times.
So please browse this site freely while I offer the best that I have to give. Sparky, one of my cats, has offered to show you site, so click on any of the links he shows you. If you have any comments, or any suggestions for improvement of this site, feel free to e-mail me. I love to receive e-mails and be sure to fill out the guest book.
