Now here is just a bunch of pictures of my car. I've been working on it since 2001 and it still isn't done, only becuz i kept wanting to make it faster. This is the second motor i've put in it but it's coming out to drop in a 351 windsor with too much stuff done to it to list. the car started out with just a mild 5.0, a stroker crank, frpp roller rockers, e303 cam, 24 lb injectors, upgraded to the 87 intake (86 ones are junk) and 87 heads.
It had mac equal length headers, off road h-pipe and borla cat back. for the tranny i ran a svo world class "bullet broof" t-5, king cobra clutch, steeda clutch cable and quad. rear end had 4:56 gears and a mac shifter, that was about it, this made the car run 14.2............ time for change. I wanted to get to the 12's so i pulled the stubby headers for long tube and 2 chamber mufflers for more sound. a pro 5.0 shifter (found out that mac sucks) and mac lowering springs (didn't i just rip on mac?)
the roll cage was welded in only becuz i had bigger plans in store. next to instal was welded in frame ties (these suckers are massive so this car will not twist with future horse power) i had to have 5 point harness's so in went simpsons in black. sounds like i got the car ready for lower et's but need the drive train!
i ended up pulling the motor to drop in another one just to move the car while i re-built the #'s matching one but i couldn't believe it when a massive motor fell in my lap. I recieved a 351 winsor bored 030 over with racing rods and dished pistons. the car has now gone carb via ford victor intake and holley 800. will be running about a 633 lift cam and self ported heads. i started thinking about nitrous when i recieved a kit in a trade, it was for fuel injected and was installed on the 5.0 sitting motor (can be seen in the engine bay shot) but it only gave a few hundred horses and i need more so on the 351 i will be running a pro fogger system being able to add up to 600 extra horse power (wasn't i supose to run 12's?)
yes i've decided to go lower yet, my current goal is to run sub 10's so future upgrades will be to convert the cage to a 12 point funny car style, bye bye t-5 and in goes a C6, a 9 inch ford with spool but don't know what gears yet, some glass doors and hatch, hell maybe even a glass hood too, if i decide to remove the one i built.
so if someone tells you that you can't build a 800+ hp mustang running sub 10's and drive it on the street (yes i plan to still drive it on the road) then you'll have to watch for me at sparta and motorplex this summer! i should meantion that this car cost me a total of $35'000 and it's not painted becuz SHINNY SUCKS! nah i just havn't decided what color to go
