Manufacturing Technician, I.L.D./Nitride Passivation on AMAT 5000 P.E.C.V.D.
System.
As primary author, acted as project manager of the technician team that created
an accepted IMEC 2000 abstract/poster/paper for the improvement of
Manufacturing Quality. I scheduled, facilitated, distributed minutes, and
tracked ARs. Represented a poster and shared information on the project with
conference attendees at IMEC 2000.
Created and maintain web pages for Shift 5 Thin Films Manufacturing and Shift 5
Scrap Review Board, using FrontPage 98 and HTML.
Authored four White Papers for new equipment installations.
Led Shift 5 Scrap Review Board,
comprised of Shift Managers, Manufacturing Supervisors and Technicians. This
team helped reduce Shift 5 Human-error scrap by over 48% in 1999, and is the
first to go from management-driven to technician-driven. I scheduled,
facilitated, distributed minutes, tracked ARs and presented Yield indicators.
Pulled Yield indicators from Access and Excel.
Developed training materials for ILD/Oxynitride operations and process classes.
Edited Tungsten Deposition process materials for the process class.
Developed Certification packages for ILD/Oxynitride operations. As package
owner, responsible for editing packages and maintaining current materials when
procedures and specs change.
Developed job aids and procedures for ILD/ OXYNITRIDE/ TUNGSTEN operations and
process, such as qual cards, replacement calibration wafer creation procedure,
Kanban tags, etc.
As a peer trainer of 8 years, develop training plans, deliver training to peers
by learning styles, certify tasks, track and maintain certification levels.
Conducted TASCC and Scrap Review Board Takeover presentations to Shift 5 staff,
and Shift 5 Sort.
Performed Fab audits for I.L.D./Oxynitride operations/process at Fab 8 and Fab
5 by partnering with Technicians from those sites.
Certified Intel University training instructor for ILD/OXYNITRIDE Process
Class, Web Publishing at Intel, SPEED for LIFE, SPEED Query and Results, and PC
Basic Skills.
As a content expert for the
ILD/Oxynitride tool set, have performed as Process Coordinator, Process
certifier, process certification checklists Writer/Owner. Monitored process
control charts, developed RFCs, dispositioned product. Was responsible for
researching/writing scrap reports. Retargeted process on ILD/Oxynitride systems
to center output parameters to process control systems..
Performed all phases of experiments including creating setup, performed setup,
and interpreted data. Authored four White Papers for newly installed equipment
and was responsible on shift 7 in Fab 9 for running qualification tests on all
AMATs for P652 process for ILD/Oxynitride.
Participate in process excursion containment by defining problems, gathering
data, identifying anomalies, assisting in problem resolution.
As a content expert for the ILD/Oxynitride tools, have had the responsibilities
of Operations Coordinator, Cluster Coordinator, and Operations Certifier. Write
Operations procedures, run production systems/analytical devices/test fires,
perform SPEC Audits/edits/updates and write and own operations baseline
certification checklists.
Have participated in the SMART [Safety Management Reporting Tool] Program in
Fab 9 as an observer; identified Safety issues or deficiencies, shared the
behavior with the owner, and provided the information to the team for tracking.
