Currently too tired to sleep, too tired to stay awake... In a state of stupor. Was up almost all night with Jake, and thinking is not currently easy. So, to stay awake and occupied, a list of what's on my beautiful bookshelves... This is not to say that I've READ all of these, and it's certainly not to say that I LIKE all of these or recommend them. They're not really in much order of preference, although, for the most part, the ones I like more are toward the top. These are simply listed in the order in which I've arranged them on my bookshelves. I don't know the Dewey Decimal System.
Something smells like ass, and I hope it isn't me. Who knows?
Yes, I put Ayn Rand next to Karl Marx on purpose.
And I know Henry Miller isn't REALLY French, he just thought he was. Close enough. He's between French people and Beats. It seemed right.
Later this week, I'll make notes on all of these, so you'll know which ones I'm recommending...
Å bientot...
~Helena*
PS -- Fine, okay, whatever... So Albert Camus isn't French either... Gimme a fucken break; he SPOKE French...
