04 June 2003 ~ "You have a sultry chihuahua..."

It was a beautiful, sunny day today. Again. Any more of these, and I might start getting used to it...

Today, I sat in the yard and read my book. Mr. Jensen yelled, "what the hell's that damned HIPPIE doing in my yard?" It was good-natured; I pretended to look around for the damned hippie. There's really nothing better than feeling good, sitting in a yard on a very warm, sunny day, drinking lemonade and reading a good book.

"You have a sultry chihuahua," said Louise to Jake, after playing the movie for us. Jake agreed. It was not a combination of words I ever would have thought possible.

Played a short game of volleyball, sans net, sans scoring, in the yard today. I lost. I know I said we weren't keeping score, but I think you automatically lose when you've gotten the ball stuck at the very top of a tree more than once.

Watched some kids downtown put on a play. It was cute. That's all.

Now I'm very sleepy. And hungry. I can't decide which need I should fulfill first. Regardless, being online isn't going to help either one...

'Night...
