I haven't had such an adventurous day in years!
The details will have to wait until tomorrow, because I'm currently experiencing that really fabulous, worn-out, accomplished sort of exhaustion, where your whole body feels drained, yet tingly... I'm going to capitalize on this feeling by going to bed...
...but just to pique your interest:
I took Jake on what was possibly his first trolley ride; learned two different magic tricks at the Pike Place Market from two different guys; watched a squeamish lady hold a huge dead fish; made love on a Russian submarine (yes, I'm serious); had the most heavenly chicken sandwich the Chicken Sandwich God ever put on this earth; fed Jake the second-most heavenly chicken sandwich on this earth; saw two girls strip down to skimpy bathing suits and run around the University of Washington campus in [COLDASS] pouring rain; shook the hand of Mr. Tom Robbins; had a snack at Flying J.'s in Tacoma; went across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge for the first time (BADASS bridge!); and... oh yes, and saw some cool, creepy mummies.
All in one day.
Hell, I even navigated our way to the B&O [coffeehouse and home of Chicken Sandwich God] without getting lost! I think THAT'S a first for me...
Oh, and Jake got to poke around with some dorky comic book crap. But even that was sort of fun.
But right now, I'm feeling very sleepy, and very good, and very much like I would like to lay down, chill out, read a half a page of whatever's sitting on the side table, and fall asleep in the arms of my co-adventurer. Just wait until the next installment...
"Infinity girl"...
