17 March 2001 ~ St Patrick's Day, and Ralphie...

First of all, happy St. Patrick's Day. I'm the only damn person in this entire town except my parents who ISN'T Irish, and am feeling rather alone, as I'm also probably the only person in this town who's not at the Belmar sucking down Killian's Irish Red with the best of 'em, but I'm content to sit home and sip a nasty hazelnut cappuccino from the gas station and think bitter little thoughts about how nobody around here celebrates German Day or Danish Day or French Day or Barrista Day, or anything that *I* have anything to do with. Ah well. I'm over it. Happy drinking.

Second, I am absolutely infuriated with Aaron for having MET RALPHIE NADER WITHOUT ME!!! This means war. This means I'm going to take a plane to Roswell, NM, and spend a month there waiting for The Ship (tm), which I will see without Aaron. So freaking there, Aaron Jesús Leroy.

Aaron and Ralphie...

Third, there are a million other things I have to talk about this fine evening, but I'm going to wait for another time, when my mind is clearer and my coffee is warmer...
