A. Standing Committees. There shall be at least three standing committees:
1. Fundraising Committee. This committee shall be in charge of raising funds for Foundation activities.
2. Bataan Memorial Park Maintenance Committee. This committee shall be in charge of overseeing proper care and maintenance of Bataan Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
3. Public Education and Community Affairs Committee. This committee shall oversee the development of educational material and programs to educate the public about the defense of Bataan and Corregidor and all pertinent events and activities leading up to and following that defense.
B. Nominating Committee. At least 90 days prior to the annual meeting, the Board shall appoint a nominating committee that will review potential candidates and nominate candidates for the Board’s consideration and voting. The Vice-President shall chair the nominating committee.
C. The President, with the approval of the Board, shall appoint such ad hoc committees as may be deemed appropriate by the Board.
D. Subject to the approval of the members of the Board, each committee may adopt rules for its own governance, consistent with the bylaws.
E. No action by a committee shall be considered an action by the Board unless voted and approved of by the Board.
