ARTICLE V:  ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 

A. General Authority. There shall be an Advisory Committee whose members shall be selected by the Board and shall serve as advisors and resources of information for the Foundation. Those serving on the Advisory Committee shall receive no compensation, except for reasonable reimbursement of their expenses, in the performance of their duties and attendance at the Annual meeting. The Board will appoint an honorary Chairperson or Co-chairperson of the Advisory Committee at the Board’s discretion.

 

B. Composition. The Advisory Committee shall be comprised of Americans who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields. The Advisory Committee will be comprised of up to thirty members, unless otherwise determined by the Board.

 

C. Term of Duty. Each Advisory Committee member shall serve at the discretion of the Board and may resign at any time by giving notice to the President of the Board. Any Advisory Committee member may be removed by the Board with or without cause.
