KNICKS KNEWS - BY SCOTT GOLDBERG -
The New York Knicks lost in the 2nd Round to the Indiana Pacers, 99-88. On the brighter side, Allan Houston scored 33 points silently. Mark Jackson, a former Knick now playing for the Pacers, scored a Triple Double.
The Knicks look to land their salary cap on Minesotta Timberwolves Stephon Marbury. Stephon Marbury said earlier in the 1997-98 season that he wouldn't mind playing for the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. There has been some rumors on the radio ( WFAN 660AM ), and in the Newspapers ( Newsday, New York Daily News, USA Today, etc ). Hopefully the Knicks can get rid of Chris Childs and get Mr. Marbury.
The Knicks beat the Heat by 17 points, 98-81 on Sunday, May 3rd, 1998 at Miami Arena in Miami, Flordia. Allan Houston had 30 points as Buck Williams added 11 points and had 14 rebounds. John Starks added 24 points and had 5-9 in three point shooting.
