Chris Mills, # 42
The 6-foot-7 Mills joined the Knicks after recording some impressive credintials over four years with the Cavs. In 1996-97, he posted 13.4 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and shot .453 from the floor over 80 games, including a .391 mark from three-point range (96-200). He finished ninth in the NBA with 39.6 mpg, racking up the second highest single-season minute total in Cleveland history (3,187).
Of course, Mills should be a familiar figure to Knicks fans. In 1995 and 1996, he was a Playoff nemesis, as the Knicks defeated the Cavs in the opening round in both seasons. There was also the night of March 2, 1997, when he racked a career high five steals against the Knicks at the Garden.
