Lions live in the grasslands of the African Plains. They can grow to be 4 to 6 feet long. Their favorite things to eat are giraffes and zebras. Lions try to stay away from poachers who might kill them.  One interesting fact about the lions is that the females do most of the hunting. -David (age 7)
