Giraffes live in the African Plains. They can grow to be 16 to 20 feet tall. They usually weigh about 800 pounds. Their favorite things to eat are leaves. They try to stay away from lions and crocodiles that might eat them. One very interesting thing about giraffes is that they have blue tongues.
