Gila monsters live in the desert. They can grow to be 2 feet long. They usually weigh about 8 pounds. They favorite things to eat are small rodents and reptile eggs. They stay away from rattlesnakes that might eat them. One very interesting thing about the gila monster is that they are one of two venomous lizards. -Brandon
