My name is Ryan Sodie, and I was born in New Jersey. I grew up in Franklin Township, then moved to Plainsboro Township in 1987.
I am currently enrolled in the Cook College Environmental Education Minor Program. I graduated from Cook College in 2000 with a B.S. in Meteorology. After graduating, moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to start a new career. For two years, I worked for ENSR International, a worldwide environmental consulting firm. My primary focus was air pollution modeling for new and modified industrial facilities. I also performed meteorological and climatological studies related to the projects. In the fall of 2002, I returned to New Jersey to begin a new career in science teaching.
I am currently student teaching at Crossroads North Middle School in South Brunswick Township, and I plan to be certified in General Science and Earth Science this spring. I have a high interest in all scientific fields, and I'm looking foward to a rewarding career in teaching science in secondary schools.
