WHAT TO BRING TO SEDGE ISLAND


PERSONAL ITEMS
1. Sunscreen (SPF 15 or higher); apply early and frequently
2. insect repellant (non-aerosol)
3. 1 liter of drinking water in an unbreakable, tightly sealed bottle
4. sunglasses with lanyard to prevent loss
5. hat with brim for sun protection
6. water shoes or old sneakers for crabbing, clamming and fishing (they will get wet)
7. Long lightweight pants
8. bathing suit and towel
9. rain coat or wind breaker (NOT a poncho)
10. Flashlight
11. Toothbrush, toothpaste etc…
12. change of clothes – bring clothes that you do not mind getting wet or dirty, also a sweatshirt or fleece, it may get chilly at night
13. Bedding; Sleeping bag or sheets and pillowcase (pillows supplied)

OPTIONAL PERSONAL ITEMS
1. Camera (sealed in waterproof bag)
2. Binoculars (sealed in water proof bag)
3. Fishing rod and tackle
4. Snacks

PLEASE DO NOT BRING
1. portable listening devices including, walkman, cd players, boom boxes etc…
2. Beepers, Cell phones etc…
3. Money
4. Jewelry, watches, or other expensive items
5. Anything that will be ruined if it gets wet.
