April 5, 1989 -- A
Superior Court judge yesterday
ordered Dennis Dechaine to spend the rest of his
life in prison for the
torture-slaying of a young baby sitter, telling
Dechaine the maximum sentence was
the only way to
ensure "that you never have the
opportunity to murder another
little girl."
Dechaine, appearing grim upon
hearing the verdict, was convicted
on all
five counts pending against him,
including murder, kidnapping and
gross sexual misconduct.
More details can be found
by clicking on Sarah's name and
reading the book entitled "Human
Sacrifice", written about the case.
Some believe the killer may still
be at large... |

Chad |
Choice |
8 |
Patrick Horn was barely 17
in 1991 when he gunned down
8-year-old Chad Choice, dismembered
his body and buried his bones in
shallow graves.
Horn terrorized Chad's
mother for years with ransom notes
and even left the little boy's
skull in a grocery sack in front of
the child's uncle's house. A note
with the skull read: "You only paid
part, so here is a part. "Chad's
fate was not discovered for 5
years. By that time, Horn had
robbed two banks and participated
in the fatal carjacking of an
elderly Smith County fruit vendor.
Now 28, Horn was already serving a
life sentence in federal prison for
his other crimes when a Smith
County jury decided he should die
for killing Chad. Horn currently is
in a Georgia federal penitentiary,
and will be transferred to death
row after his trial judge sets an
execution date. |

the killer of 14-year-old Amber
Creek who's body was dumped in a
wooded area near Burlington,
Wisconsin in 1997.
On February 9, 1997, two hunters
came across the partially frozen

wearing few clothes and had a black

Jeffrey
|
Curley |
10 |
The men who murdered
Jeffrey were NAMBLA members
following a pedophile manual
titled "Rape and Escape" when the
men stole Jeffrey’s bicycle, and
befriended him by offering to
buy Jeffrey a new bike.
The men were on the way to
the store with Jeffrey when they
offered him money for sexual
favors. As Jeffrey rebuffed them,
they resorted to force, eventually
suffocating the boy. The men
then raped the corpse. 1997
Robert and Barbara Curley, of
Cambridge, Massachusetts, have
asked a federal judge to let them
sue NAMBLA under Rico laws, which
target criminal conspiracies.
NAMBLA is a "criminal"
organization "that exists to train
pedophiles to rape children,"
according to the suit. |
