As for Dugan, while his DNA closely matches the genetic material found at the crime scene, to this day he has not been charged for the murder of Jeanine Nicarico. He is currently serving two consecutive life sentences in an Illinois prison for the rape and murder of Donna Schnorr and Melissa Ackerman, who were both killed after Jeanine Nicarico.

Rosalie

Adams

15

Ponca City, OK -- Rosalie Adams was killed because she refused to recant her story that Kirk Warren McBrain, 23, and Donald Kent Honeycutt, 25 raped her. McBrain arranged to have Rosalie picked up from school and bring her to him after she had turned down a bribe of $5,080 to change her story.

Ten days after, Rosalie was reported missing McBrain led authorities to an abandoned farm house where he confessed to killing her. He then led authorities to a nearby river where he said he dumped her body. Her weighted, naked body was recovered from the river.

Honeycutt was sentenced to 70 years in prison for kidnapping and assault. In 1986 McBrain was sentenced to 99 years in prison for murder.

 Tammy  Agee

14

Richmond, VA -- July 17, 1998 -- Richmond investigators are now
closing the  book on a 14-year-old homicide case in the city.

The 1985 disappearance and murder of Tammy Agee made headlines, and had  investigators all around the region combing for clues. From his prison cell, 33- year-old Jamie Donaldson pleaded guilty to raping, tying up the 14-year-old  girl, and ultimately killing Tammy.

Anita

Agyeman

10

An autopsy showed Anita had been asphyxiated and that there were no obvious signs of violence.

Police would not say whether the girl was sexually violated or if they had any evidence being genetically tested. They would give no details about their investigation.

In a darkened apartment just a few hundred meters from the home where Anita's naked body was found, neighbors and family speculated that the killer was someone she knew.

Police say they are still continuing to interview neighbors and relatives and have not yet identified a suspect.

Thomas Scott

 Allen

Thomas ran out of gas and was picked up by Lingar and accomplice David Smith promising to take him to gas station. Instead they drove him to a lake, ordered him to disrobe and masturbate. Lingar drove home to get rifle, and when he returned shot victim in the back.
As Thomas struggled to car, Lingar shot him 3 more times. When Thomas showed signs of life, Lingar got crowbar from trunk and beat him with it, then rammed him with car as they were leaving. Smith testified and received a 10 year sentence after pleading guilty to 2nd Degree Murder.

Priscilla Almares 12 SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A registered sex offender facing a capital
murder charge in one death has become the prime suspect in the
November 1994 rape and strangulation of two teen-age girls, and
police now also suspect him in two other killings.

Authorities say they believe 29-year-old Ramon Torres Hernandez,
nicknamed the "Razor," kidnapped and killed at least five victims from
the same southwest San Antonio neighborhood beginning about seven years ago.

Hernandez already was charged in the rape and slaying of Rosa Maria
Rosado, 37, whose body was found in a shallow grave in April.

This month, San Antonio police charged Hernandez, 29, with the 1994
rape and strangulation of Sarah Gonzales, 13, and Priscilla Almares,
12, after DNA evidence linked him to their deaths.

The Bexar County district attorney's office plans to take the case to a
grand jury in the next two months.

Now, Bandera County Sheriff James MacMillan says Hernandez is a suspect
in the strangulation deaths of San Antonio teens Laura Gamez and
Jennifer  Taylor, whose decomposed bodies were found on a ranch near
Medina Lake in April 1995. Relatives reported them missing Nov. 9, 1994.

 Zetta "Camille"  Arfman

14

OSKALOOSA -- A Jefferson County District Court judge Wednesday denied two motions for acquittal filed on behalf of a man convicted of murdering his sister-in-law.

In April, a Jefferson County jury found Floyd Scott Bledsoe, 23, guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated indecent liberties with a child in the death of Zetta "Camille" Arfman.

The 14-year-old girl had been living with Bledsoe and her sister in a mobile home  northeast of Oskaloosa when she disappeared Nov. 5, 1999. Her partially exposed body was found three days later in a trash ditch at the home of Bledsoe's parents.

A multiplicious charge occurs when a defendant faces more than one charge for a single wrongful act. Kurth said the charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated indecent liberties with a child overlapped in Bledsoe's case.

11 year old Carenthia Marie Bailey disappeared after attending a Middle School basketball game. Her body was found two days later in a nearby woods, raped, strangled and with 20 or more puncture wounds in her abdomen. Tony Neyshea Chambers made oral, written and videotaped confessions, which he later tried to recant. Several witnesses saw Chambers leave the basketball game with her.

Christina Benjamin 13

Christina Benjamin was assisted by Jason Eric Massey in "sneaking out of the house" one night, never to return. The girl's decomposing body was found the next day in a field shot in the back, raped, stabbed, and disemboweled, with head and hands severed. Some body parts never recovered. The body of a 14 year old was found nearby, shot twice in the head. Massey bragged and kept a diary about wanting to be a famous serial killer, fantasizing to others that he wanted to decapitate a girl and have sex in her neck. Kept a collection of animal skulls and jaw bones in a woods.

Andre

Bosse

Andre disappeared in 1997 from her Muskegon, Mich., home. Dean Metcalfe is serving life in prison after pleading no contest to first-degree murder charges.

Metcalfe, who was reportedly a neighbor, was father to Bosse's best friend.

Metcalfe was already serving two life sentences for molesting children. His May 1999 sentencing ensured that he would never be paroled. Metcalfe had told police that he shot Andre in a wooded area.

Sarah Jean

Bowker

7

As relatives and neighbors searched for LaKia they spoke of the well-known Tinsley and Bowker cases, noting LaKia had disappeared on March 22 and Tinsley had been abducted on April 1, 1988.

There wasn't much speculation that LaKia fell victim to the same suspects that preyed on the other girls - Last year, prosecutors announced they were closing the Bowker case after they developed enough evidence to be satisfied that the man who abducted, molested and murdered her was dead, a  75-year-old man who died in 1994. Some authorities speculate that man, Roy Hensley, also was responsible for the 1988 abduction and killing of April Tinsley, 8.

Bowker was reported missing from her family's Stone Pointe Village apartment June 13, 1990.
She was found about 2 p.m. the next day, lying face down in a drainage ditch just south of the apartment complex.

Benjamin Brenneman 12 Anaheim, CA -- In 1970 Benjamin Brenneman was abducted by Robert Thompson, a convicted pedophile who had been paroled from prison for a prior conviction four months prior to murdering Benjamin.
Benjamin was working as a newspaper carrier for the Orange County Register when he was molested and strangled. Thompson's home was on Benjamin's newspaper route in Anaheim. Thompson had been sentenced to death. As of Feb. 18, 2002, Thompson is still sitting on death row.

Andria

Brewer

12

May 15, 1999 twelve-year-old Andria Brewer was kidnapped out of the living room of her rural Arkansas home. Disappearing without a trace, the state of Arkansas and the FBI launched a massive statewide search for the girl. Three days later the confessed killer led authorities to her body.

On Friday, May 19, 2000, Karl Douglas Roberts was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to die by lethal injection for the kidnap, rape, and murder of his 12-year-old niece, Andrea Brewer.

Jim Miller, a supervisor with the state probation and parole office, said the man taken for questioning had been held for eight days in the Winnebago County Jail on a probation violation before being released Thursday. The man was serving a one-year probation sentence for disorderly conduct alleging he sexually abused a cow last year at a farm, Miller said.

Feb. 1, 1992 -- Menasha man's murder of a 2-year-old child he snatched through a window of a house trailer offers an argument for capital punishment, a prosecutor says.

Joseph Paulus, Winnebago County district attorney, obtained the conviction Thursday of Kelly J. Coon, 27, who police said sexually assaulted Amy Breyer before leaving the child's body in a woods near a trailer court. The girl died July 12 just a few hours after Coon was let out of jail.

Judge Robert Haase sentenced him to life in prison, then scheduled a hearing March 5 to decide when Coon might become eligible for parole.

In memory of Amy her uncle, Jay Breyer has created a web site, Y.E.S.,
Youth Educated in Safety.

Gina

Brooks

13

Fredericktown, MO -- Sept. 27, 1998 -- Gina Dawn Brooks was riding her bike to a friend's house about 10:30 p.m. the night she disappeared. Her bike was found five blocks from her home.  Two 12-year-old boys heard her screams for help, and saw a battered station wagon speed off.

Nine years have passed since Gina was snatched off her bike on the normally quiet streets of Fredericktown, Mo., disappearing into the dark without a trace. The billboards and posters seeking information on Gina may be down, but that doesn't mean people -- or police -- forgot.

Investigators kept searching, and now have charged two men they believe abducted her that night of Aug. 5, 1989.

Nathan D. "Danny" Williams, 38, and Timothy R. Bellew, 28, were charged with her murder. Williams is a convicted child rapist already serving a 30-year sentence without parole in the state penitentiary.

Bellew lives with his parents on a heavily wooded 96-acre plot about 10 miles south of Fredericktown.

Gina is feared dead, but her remains never have been found.

Detectives who searched for months without finding her body say they are convinced just the same that she is dead. They say that Crain, a convicted child molester last seen with Amanda, is responsible.

Family snapshots show 7-year-old Amanda Brown as a little girl with a waifish face, grinning for her school picture, her baby teeth slowly being replaced by those that were supposed to last her into adulthood...

A Contra Costa County jury has found Larry Christopher Graham guilty of the 1983 murder of five-year-old Angela Bugay. The jury also found Graham guilty of special circumstances because of sex crimes committed during the murder. That makes him eligible for the death penalty.

Graham was convicted Tuesday after a three-month trial. He was arrested in 1996 after DNA evidence linked him to the murder. Angela Bugay's body was found at a reservoir south of Antioch a week after she was reported missing.

Theodore "Ted" Bundy was something of a celebrity throughout the 70's and 80's. He allegedly killed 36 women, but by his own admission, there were at least 100 more unaccounted for. He had no remorse, no pity, no empathy for the victims or their families.

On February 9, 1978, Kimberly Leach, age 12, was reported missing from her junior high school in Lake City, Florida. Two months later, after a large scale search, the Leach girl's partially decomposed body was located in a wooded area near the Suwanee River. There were semen stains in the crotch of her panties found near the body.

The only person Ted Bundy ever felt true sympathy for was himself. He lacked the ability to love anyone other than himself, and lived without the one thing that separates man from animals-- a conscience.  And so it is with all predators...

 Cannie Melinda  Bullock

DNA evidence has tied a Colorado convict to the vicious 1979 rape and murder of an 8-year-old California girl, authorities revealed Wednesday. Cannie Melinda Bullock was raped, choked and beaten to death on Aug. 25, 1979. The killer disappeared and her murder remained unsolved.

But using DNA tests unknown at the time, police said they now know who killed the girl. Investigators charged a habitual child molester named Joseph Cordova, Jr. with murdering, raping and molesting Bullock. His DNA profile recently had been entered into a national database of convicted felons.

Cordova was not a suspect before the DNA match. He moved from California to Canada a couple months after Bullock's slaying, then moved to Colorado in 1980, investigators said.

Cordova currently is locked up at the Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility in Crowley, Colo., where he was sent after pleading guilty to molesting an 11-year-old boy in Jefferson County.

Pamela

Butler

On Tuesday, October 12, 1999, 10 year old Pamela Butler was abducted from her front yard. Her sister, Penny, watched in horror as she saw Pamela being pulled into a white Ford pickup truck. Pamela screamed and cried and drew attention to herself. Keith D. Nelson snatched Pamela from near her Kansas City, Kan., home and stuffed her into the cab of a pickup truck.

Nelson then drove Pamela to the parking lot of a church in Grain Valley, where he dragged her through a densely wooded area, then raped her and strangled her with a length of brown speaker wire.

Keith D. Nelson will be sentenced to die by lethal injection for the 1999 kidnapping, rape and murder of 10-year-old Pamela Butler, a Kansas City federal jury ruled
