WATER FILTERS
Right now there is so much going on with water filters no one really knows what's good and what's not. What I can say right now from the testing I've been doing is that I would go with the MSR. To be honest, at times I do drink right out of the Delaware river using no filter. BUT, you should always carry a filter with you, especially when you trek off the beaten path.

Remember, carry your filter with you, but don't forget how to make a water still! The woods are full of people who can't read a compass today because they just whip out the GPS unit. That's great until the day it doesn't work! Remember, survival is a dying art. If you have a question, "E-Mail" me!
