6È Letter To The Editor Dear Editor, I just realized why the last eight letters I have wrote to your paper haven`t been published. You are punishing me because your carrier is demanding me to pay her a week ahead of time. I have had trouble with every carrier except Mr. Mathews and Warren Coats. It seems Mrs. Hoover shows she has more authority than the editor. I have the authority because I know from my receipts of payment when I started payment at your office. When I started back receiving the paper I paid for three months and I keep records of our finances. I do not throw our reseipts away until after three years unless it pertains to a major financial bill like our W-2 forms, those I keep in envelopes forever. I also realized that maybe you do not like another woman being in power like Kathleen Blanco becoming our next Governor. Every woman running for office will get my vote because the men have had their chance and just look at what our children are facing from their failed leadership. I do not care what political party they are representing, the female has more compassion for our children and old folks than men do. I got a family forum paper from Mike Grimmer`s office yesterday on my way to Oakdale Louisiana to do my part time job. I was there to apologize to him for accusing him of giving the order to gas those little animals. I was told by a shelter employee that the order came from a Parish worker hired by Dewey Ratcliff. Yesterday being September 22nd. I mentioned the date since some of my letters to the editor have been kept two to three weeks before they were printed and edited to the point they didn`t even make sense to me and I wrote them. Whether you like it or not people ask me why I have not wrote a letter to the editor lately. I tell them I have but I am being punished because I will not let anyone like a welfare receiving carrier tell me when my bill is due. I believe you believe in education and what I do not understand is why you hire people that did not even finish grammar school. I know for a fact you have one person of this caliber working at your Daily Star. I saw this person the day I came to put an ad in the paper. By reading quite a few of the mispelled words in the paper, I believe you have more than one uneducated employee working for you. Well that is all I want to write at this time so I will close for now. Amen. W. Jerry Starkey 29030 Weston Hano Rd Holden La 70744 225 294 6561˜È @èþ¼Times New RomanÉ d nÜJ ¸&”p#Þ'L,º0(5–9>
