THIS IS THE NAME OF THE PROPOSED BUILDING TO KEEP THE CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN SAFE FROM THE PEOPLE THAT KIDNAP AND KILL CHILDREN. I WROTE A CHILD`S STORY E-BOOK ON FLOPPY DISK TO SUPPORT THE BUILDING OF THIS 400 BY 200 RECREATION CENTER. I PUT THIS STORY ON AN EBOOK FLOPPY DISK TO SAVE OUR ENVIRONMENT OF TREES THAT PRODUCES CLEAN AND FRESH AIR FOR OUR CHILDREN`S FUTURE. MY SON IS THE COMPUTER SPECIALIST. MY SON BUILDS THE WEB SITES. MY SON MAKES THE EBOOKS. MY SON UPGRADES COMPUTERS AND I DID NOT KNOW HE COULD UPGRADE A COMPUTER UNTIL OTHER PEOPLE TOLD ME SO. Old Bones, Old Brains, What Mind?
This story
is about people that refuse to recognize the advancement of modern times. People
that say, “Why should I learn about computers?”. They are the very people that
refuse to learn the advancement of modern times. Myself, I have a reason to
keep learning, my son is into computer technology in High School. In order to
keep up with my son I have to keep up with computer technology. I have looked
up antique pieces for people on the Internet that wanted to know the value of
their collection. I have looked up prices of farm equipment and construction
equipment on the Internet for people so they could get better deals on their
purchases. I have looked up laws on the Internet in the LSU Library and the
Library of Congress for people that wanted to know the meaning of a certain law
and the date the law was enacted. Most
of my writings I have looked up the laws and the revised laws before I made a
statement concerning a certain law. Computers are the future of our childrens
education. I believe every child should have a computer starting in preschool
through college. A Parents` investment in a computer for their child is a step
towards a better education for their child. Today nothing is operated manually
anymore. Only the garden tools are hand operated and what parent wants their
child digging ditches for a living. I for one do not want my child digging
ditches for a living. I have sat and drank coffee with people my age and I have
heard them say, ”I do not need a computer in my house”. People my age say,” I do not need a computer to tell me how to
plant flowers or raise any kind of
garden, because my parents taught me what I know.” Now if these same people
could turn on a computer they could learn an easier way of planting the same
garden. These same people would not have to bend over so many times stretching
those Old Bones out of their joints and getting headaches from over using their
Old Brains if they would learn to turn on the computer and find an easier way
of planting that same garden. These same old people like myself could save
their What Minds to remember where they put the garden tools. Any subject you
are studying is on the computer. Any picture of any subject or object you are
studying is on the computer. The School Boards even put the subjects of each
grade the child is studying on the computer. Suppose your child misses a day of
school, your child can go to their School Board web site and find the subjects she or he missed and catch up
with the rest of the class. Today our children are blessed with teachers that
keep up with modern technology. Many schools give classes to the parents and
grandparents two afternoons a week in computers. You are not too smart if you
refuse to take these classes because of your Old Bones, Old Brains and What
Mind. Let me say this before I started studying computers I spent money
foolishly on old cars, inventions, hobbies, and other things I do not care to
mention but when I started into
computers my mind became occupied. There are so many things on a computer that
will keep your Old Brain, Old Bones and What Mind occupied twenty-four hours of
the day. Speaking of Old Bones, you
have to sit down to run a computer correctly and that alone saves those Old
Bones from popping out of shape. That Old Brain of yours has to know how to
spell to look up the information but you have a tool bar to spell the word correctly
for you. You have Web Sites to look up the information for you. These Web Sites
are called Engines. Then you have lists and more lists of Web Sites within
these major Web Sites you can click on for more information on the subject or
object you are looking for and you are saving those Old Bones, Old Brains and
What Mind by sitting and relaxing while you are searching the Web Sites on your
or the Library computer. If you old folks cannot afford a computer on your
Social Security check you can go to the Public Library and use the computers
there, so there is no excuse for not learning the computer today. We have Lab
monkeys that can signal the sign language and write on the computer so if you
are still determined that your Old Bones, Old Brains and What Mind
cannot learn the computer technology, then buy yourself a Nasa trained monkey to do it for you. Older people and younger people are going to know why you are walking around with a monkey on a leash after they read this short story. For relaxation you have many games you can play on the computer. Instead of sitting on the front porch and watching the cars go by you can play cards on the computer. You do not need a partner to play cards with on the computer. Just the click of the mouse and you can beat your own self and you do not get into an argument with your mate. There are childrens games they play by inserting a disk or installing the disk on the computer. The old folks can do the same with some of these disks to learn how their driving skills or reactions are. Some of these games are cops and robbers chases so if you are a retired policeman you may enjoy this kind of game disk instead of talking to your own self about the good old days. My good old days were not good old days because of the education limitations without computers. I sit and think back to the fifties and sixties of how millions of people brought up in those times would know today if we had computers then. Our world today would be richer in education technology and richer in wealth. Today there would be no bankruptcies of huge companies like Worldcom, Conseco and Enron. Wall Street would be booming. With computers back in the fifties and sixties we would not be engaged in so many conflicts over oil today because the computer would have advised the big oil companies how to preserve oil and manufacture cleaner burning gasoline. If we had computers back in the twenties the inventors of the automobile could have metered the fuel consumption in each automobile and today we would not have fuel prices soaring higher than airplanes fly. The “Ifs” word reminds me of a joke. If a frog had wings, the frog would not bump his butt so often. Electricity would have been manufactured by some cheaper means if we had computers when it was discovered. If we had computer technology one hundred years ago this world would be cleaner with no holes in the ozone. Computer technology is one hundred years behind time especially for the atmosphere and automobile technology on emission control. We have too many gadgets hooked to the automobiles that really do nothing for the atmosphere. Gadgets that make millions of dollars for the manufacture of these gadgets but these gadgets do not save our atmosphere from the stinky automobile exhausts. The computer technology came too late for our atmosphere. The world is one hundred years behind time in computer technology. It will take several years of computer technology to clean up the world atmosphere. It will take all the Old Bones, Old Brains and What Mind kind of people to learn computer technology to accomplish this cleaning up of the atmosphere. Working together young and old to learn computer technology will accomplish cleaning up the atmosphere worldwide for the future generations to come. I believe the future generations will be richer and healthier if we work together with the young people and the Old Bones, Old Brains and What Mind kind of people. Getting those Old Brains, Old Bones and What Mind kind of people to admit they need to learn computer technology is going to be a major task especially when some of them are stuck in the same old rut kind of living. Remember you Old Brains, Old Bones and What Mind people that the monkeys are passing you up when it comes to computer technology. You Old Brains, Old Bones and What Mind people will not be able to contribute your share of technology if you do not get with the modern times and learn computer technology.
