This is the new 282!I WAS INFORMED THAT THE JOB POSTED IS ENDING AT THE END OF THE MONTH AND ALL POSITIONS ARE NOW FILLED!!!!!! I WILL KEEP CHECKING FOR MORE
Shortly I will be handing out a book of 50/50 tickets to each member. In this book there will be ten $10.00 tickets. On March 3rd 2003 at 1900 hrs there will a drawing and the winner of that drawing will take half of the pot. There will also be a $50.00 gift certificate from Sears awarded to the seller of the winning ticket. The amount of the pot depends on you. I know that there will be some people that will not get involved in selling these tickets and I know some people will probably sell more then the 10 they are asked to sell. This is a good chance for the local to put some money in our funds and also for someone to take home a nice amount of money. I have already been asked what this money would be used for and the biggest thing right now would be that our dues do not go up again next year. If we do real well we can look into things like a sunshine fund. This would consist of several things that could possibly assist a member under certain circumstances. It all depends on the amount of money we can get in our fund. If you are happy with paying your dues and receiving your PBA cards and do not want to be involved please turn the tickets back in so someone that wants to sell them can.
