WELCOME TO THE BOOKTALK WEB PAGE

Hello Booktalk Members:

At our last meeting we said Goodbye to Barbara. Barbara, one of our first memebers is leaving for new horizons in Georgia. We'll miss you Barbara. Keep in touch.

At the last meeting, we were supposed to continue our discussion on Frederick Douglas encompassing his relationship with his wife Anna and his mistress Ottalie after we read Love Across Color Lines by Maria Diedrich. Unfortunatly, many of us either didn't get the book or didn't finish it,so we celebrated Barbara leaving.

Our next meeting, which will be held in January, we will be reading The Emperor of Ocean Park by Steven L. Carter. Shelly will host. The date and time will follow.

Hope to see you then.

Please email her with your RSVPS.
