TINA NIELSEN AMODEO
Attorney at Law Ms. Amodeo has been actively representing home buyers and sellers, corporations and individuals, in real estate and business transactions since 1997. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the practice of real estate law, landlord tenant law, commercial leasing, title law, mortgage refinancing and business management. Ms. Amodeo resides in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers University-Camden College of Arts & Sciences with a B.A. in Psychology in 1988. In 1990, she was admitted to the Honors Program at Widener University School of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 1993. Ms. Amodeo started her post-law degree career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Charles Rand in the New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part, Camden County. During this clerkship, she learned the practice of family law, also known as domestic relations law, firsthand. As a result, she has the necessary background to represent persons in these matters. In 1995, she gained the position of managing attorney at New Jersey Legal Review, Inc., a foreclosure regularity company. In that position, Ms. Amodeo learned the mortgage foreclosure process in detail and continued this position until 2003. From 1997 through 2002 she was employed as managing member of the law firm of Kayton & Amodeo, L.L.C., her practice was devoted primarily to New Jersey and Pennsylvania real estate, business and title law. From 1997 to 2003 and beginning again in 2007, she has been employed as the Licensed Banker and title advisor for a nationwide FHA-streamline mortgage company. In addition, Ms. Amodeo earned and held her title isurance producers license from 2003 until 2006 at which time she became more solely focused on her law practice. Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York, she has been advisor to the employees and owners of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania offices of the largest independent nationwide title agency regarding their local offices. (TOP OF PAGE) PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE -Ten years experience in handling large portfolio of residential real estate clients in purchases, sales and refinances. -Broad knowledge and practice in processing of mortgage refinance, residential real estate purchases and sales and REO Sales. -Extensive experience in advising and consulting with upper executives and owners of national title companies regarding legal transactions, training, office management, business procedures, and personnel matters. -Experienced in negotiating business contracts and leases for clients and business affiliates. -Practiced in training personnel about mortgage closings, legal documents, and real estate procedures as well as settlement and file-tracking software programs.
