The Newcomers Club of North Hunterdon County interest groups are varied and meet monthly, during the day or in the evening. A wide selection of activities provides something for everyone. Our current interest groups are:
Moms and Tots - This group is for moms and kids from pre-school to young elementary age. After school playtimes are planned for kids to release energy and have fun with mom!
Book Group - An evening gathering at a member's home to enjoy a relaxed discussion of good literature and non fiction.
Lunch Bunch - Try different restaurants one weekday or weekend day each month.
TGIF - A short evening for singles or couples to unwind and start the weekend with old friends or new acquaintances. The group meets on Friday evenings once a month.
Supper Club - Couples and singles meet at a host home to share conversation while dining on a themed meal prepared by everyone. Meets one Saturday a month.
Women's Wine Tasting - Learn and enjoy a varied selection of wines at a group member's home. This group meets one Monday a month in the evening.
A member may begin an interest group at any time. Previous interest groups have included a book club, skiing trips, game nights, and bridge and sewing groups. A group may meet seasonally, monthly, or on any other schedule that the coordinator wishes. Please talk to the club president or any board member if you would like to form an interest group.
