Hello… and welcome to my Cabbage Patch!!!
My fascination with Cabbage Patch Kids began when I was nine
years old. My first Cabbie was adopted
in the summer of 1983 before the Cabbage Patch frenzy ever began in
Gimbles… a day that I remember so
vividly. I did not want my Michele
Brenda because she was the current fad because it wasn’t until a few months
later that it would be the must have for every little girl, but for her warm
happy face and open arms. Since then I
begged, cried and hoped for another and another and another… I must admit that through my growing pains I
did neglect my babies. And it wasn’t
until I received for Christmas 2 wonderful 15th Anniversary Dolls
that rekindled my adoration and my search for my dear Cabbies from
childhood. Sadly to say only three out
of the original five cabbies were found at moms house. And even more upsetting was that Michele
Brenda was one of the ones missing.
Today… my collection continues to grow. Every time I say ok that’s it no more… I always end up finding
another adorable babies that I just can’t help adopt.
