The purpose of Manna Ministries is to create forums for people to gain more knowledge about God as he is represented in the Christian view of the Bible
The Birth of Manna Ministries
Conceived into this world by the hands of the Creator, as a small Bible Study Group that met in a small lounge, where about six or seven gathered to break the bread of life. Every week, each person spoke about the word, and we then shared our thoughts. A year later, about to continue the Bible Study, the same way it was the previous year...Satan came around prowling like a roaring lion, looking to devour us. We were not allowed to use the lounge for our meetings anymore, so we had to have the meetings in a small bedroom. Staying strong in the Lord, he showed His mighty wonders, and (through Campus Crusade for Christ) provided us with a big classroom about a week later, and also about 2 members every meeting. In no time, people all over the campus were talking about this Bible Study that sprang up from nowhere, and as we grew in number, so we grew in God's glory...November 2001...the name Manna Ministries was descended from up above, and we were translated from a Bible Study to a Ministry..."Let the whole world give glory unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercies endureth forever". Basically, that is how God performed His mysterious works, and carved out Manna Ministries from the breath of His lungs. Thank God, and also Campus Crusade for Christ for their great help towards the present success of Manna.
Presently, Manna Ministries, is based in Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and by the Grace of God, our mission to spread the good news, feed the hungry and to fill those who crave will be accomplished.
Manna Ministries meets every Tuesday at 9:30p.m., Livingston Campus, Lucy Stone Hall. Room B110. Meetings begin on the 5th of February 2002. All are welcome in the name of the Lord. View links below for additional information.
