  • The information of the Italian Club from last year was placed in the "Italian Club's Extras" section. If you want to see it go to the links section, then click on "Italian Club's Extras", and then on the corresponding post.

  • The Italian Club held a "Befana" party this past January 11, 2006.La Befana is a little witch that gives good kids in Italy candy on January 6.It is similiar to the Three Wise Men which is also celebrated on the same date in certain cultures.Well the club's celebration was held in room 310. We had cookies, Italian chocolate cake, candy and soda. The mood was set with Italian music from artists like Zucchero and others.

  • The Italian Club went to the Metropolitan Museum in NY last Wednesday December 14. We were given a tour of Italian paintings. Beautiful place and very enjoyable. After that, we went to Cafe` Capri in NJ. For the first time we had "antipasto" and it was wonderful. Many people were stuffed by the time the main plate was served, well that's the Italian way to eat! I hope everyone enjoyed the trip.

    • OUTLINE OF 2005-2006 CLUB ACTIVITIES:

  • These activities might change date or not occur at all. These are just ideas of what the club is planning to do.

  • Club meetings will be held every second Tuesday of the month.Make sure you attend them!

  • February 28, 2006: Carnevale will be held on this day!

  • December 14, 2005: The Italian Club will go to the Metropolitan Museum and to Cafe` Capri! Make sure you sold a box of candy and that you gave the $90 to Mrs. Benincasa.DONE

  • The Italian Club will go see an opera in the Spring.
  • Finally if you have any suggestions of field trips or activities for the club please tell any of the executive board or Mrs. Benincasa in school OR e-mail me at+click here+ .





    • CARNEVALE:
  • The Carnevale will take place on Tuesday February ,28 2006
  • The party will be held after 10th period in Cafeteria B.
  • All that attend the party must bring food, beverages or supplies for the party.Sign up with Mrs. Benincasa for that.
  • All memebers should wear a mask to the Carnevale.
  • You can come in dressed up (since is a carnival!)in typical Italian costumes.
