3rd Annual Green Brook Volleyball Clinic and League

for all Green Brook Residents Grades 6-8 interested in learning the proper skills to play volley ball at a higher for competitive level (high school, rec, etc.)

    Green Brook Recreation will host its Annual Volleyball Clinic during the months of March, April, and May.  The volleyball clinic will be taught by Dr. Greg Chiang, DPT, Physical Therapist and assisted by members of the Watchung Hills Girl's Volleyball Team. This clinic is for all Green Brook Residents grades 6-8 who are interested in learning the proper skills to play volleyball at a higher, more competitive level (high school, rec, etc.).   Watchung Hills and other participants, please contact the instructor. 

     The volleyball clinic will strive to teach proper skills & techniques to new participants of the sport, and improve the skills of players that have prior volleyball experience.  Volleyball fundamentals will be covered as well as rules, scoring, plays, position and teamwork.  Skills training will focus on proper footwork, reflexes, hand/finger positions, passing, serving, setting, digging, pancakes, and spiking.  Games will be played during each session.

            The Volleyball Clinic and League (dependant on the number of participants) will run like any other spring sport (March - early June) at GBMS.  Clinic sessions and games will be held Tuesday and Thursday NIGHTS.  Tuesdays from 6:45-9:30pm, and occasional  Thursdays from 8:00-9:30pm.  A full calendar of session dates and times will be given at sign-ups/1st day of practice.

Registration fee of $20, t-shirt included.  Late sign-ups are accepted.
