A JERSEY WELCOME

When singer-bassist Glenn Hughes chose New Jersey as the site of his first-ever solo gig in the United States, Jersey rockers came out to see the former Deep Purple/Black Sabbath vocalist in action. Members of Monster Magnet, Anthrax and Skid Row took Hughes' March 22 show at the Birch Hill Nightclub in Old Bridge. CELEBS followed Hughes on that day, from a morning radio interview to sound check to backstage to the main event.
