Hermit Krabz likes to change shells as they grow in order to keep their body moist and well protected. The shell, with the opening as big as the crab's largest pincher and larger than the present shell, would be the prefered shell.

Hermit Krabz like company and they get more active when they coexist in pairs. Increasing the number of hermit crab's friends is as important as providing enough space for each to live on.

Crabs likes to eat variety of fruits and vegetables  as treats along with the premixed calcium rich hermit crab food. They also like to bury their food  which later on may cause smell. So make sure that you remove all the uneaten food prior to feeding. Water quality is very important for this little friend. It is crucial to  serve fresh water everyday in their shell dishes.

Hermit Krabz likes to clean themselves everyday with fresh water. Just submerge them into room temperature fresh water for 1 - 2 minutes and let them air dry.

Crabz love climbing. Choya wood, climbing net or coral will promote climbing.
