Following is my proposals to reroute and/or change Septa routes. I'm not proposing
adding adding any new routes, or doing away with any routes. I am proposing some routes
be bannarized. Due to the fact that my life in the city was in the Northeast, most of
my suggestions are to routes in/around the Northeast.

Reletter all previously lettered routes:

Keep the 4 or the 16 as such
Revert the other route back to C
14 would revert back to B
18 would revert back to S
19 would revert back to W
21 would revert back to D
24 would revert back to N
28 would become O
32 would revert back to A
35 would revert back to Z
65 would revert back to E
68 would revert back to M
70 would revert back to Y
77 would become an extended version of the X
88 would become T
89 would become an extended version of the P

BX: Limited stops: FTC, Cottman, Holme/Solly, Grant, Byberry, City Line, then via US-1
to Neshaminy Mall and Oxford Valley Mall.

WX: Local to Algon Avenue and Magee Street. Express via Algon Avenue, resume local
service at Algon Avenue and Napfle Avenue. Local to Krewstown Road and Gregg
Street. Torresdale runs would continue local to Grant Avenue and Ashton Road,
express via Grant Avenue to Grant Avenue and Fordham Road, then, local service
     to Torresdale Station.

1X: Local from Philadelphia Park to 5th & Roosevelt Blvd. Express via
US-1 (Roosevelt Expressway) to I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to City Avenue. Resume
local routing at City Ave. & Belmont Ave.

3: Split the 3 into 2 bus lines, the 3 and the 83

     Dauphin Loop.

to 2nd Street. Local service starting at 2nd & Race. Northbound running via 3rd
Street, right on Race Street, I-95 North, exit at Bridge Street. Take Aramingo Ave.
to right on Tacony Street, left on Bridge Street to Frankford Transportation Center.

15: Extend trolley tracks to FTC, sucking in the 73 route.

19: New number for current 20 route via Academy Road.

20K: Local service serving current 20 route via Keswick Ave.
20X: Express service via Bridge Street, I-95, Academy Road to Grant Avenue. Local
service from Grant & Academy to Franklin Mills.

83: Limited stop express. Start at Frankford Transportation Center, run via Frankford
Avenue, Kensington Avenue, Front Street, C.B. Moore Blvd., 33rd Street, Girard Ave.
to the zoo. Stops at the following locations:
Frankford Transportation Center, Arrott, Erie-Torresdale, Alleghany, Lehigh,
Dauphin, American, 8th, Broad, 20th, then local service from 33rd & C.B. Moore to
     the zoo.

89X: Local service from Arrott Terminal to Castor and Wyoming. Express, via Castor Avenue
to Frankford Avenue. Local from Castor and Frankford to Front and Dauphin.

Northeast Philadelphia Loops (84/85):

84 would run out of FTC, along the current 67 route to Bustleton and Verree, then, via Bustleton Avenue,
right Byberry, follow the 84 route to FTC. (20 mile clockwise routing)

85 would be the counterclockwise routing of the 84.

Lower Northeast/North Philadelphia Loops (60/70):

60 would run out of 35th & Alleghany, along the current 60 route to Richmond and Westmoreland, then
express along the Richmond Street (stopping at Tioga, Castor, and Orthodox) to left on Bridge (stopping
only at Harbison and at Torresdale) to FTC, then Pratt Street left Roosevelt Blvd., then along the
current 1 route (stopping only at 1 route limited stops) to 35th & Alleghany.

70 would be the clockwise routing of the 60.

Patrons on the 67/84 could stay on one bus through FTC, making say a run from Bridge and Harbison to Oxford
and Summerdale a one seat ride.
