Chatper 5
Harry fell backwards and yelled out "What?!"
"Mr. Harry Potter is not safe around her. She is connected to him!"
"Dobby, if I even new him then wouldn't not be here now?" asked Kayt.
Dobby lunged toward Kayt again but this time Harry held him back.
"Go away before... before..." Dobby said right before he dissapeared.
Kayt watched him disapear and was thinking about what Dobby said.
Harry watched her and said "I don't believe him, you know."
Kayt was speechless and just smiled at him.
"Want to go back to the Dursleys?" asked Harry, helping Kayt up.
"I can't believe he just said that." said Kayt, under her breath.
"What'd you say?" asked Harry.
"Sure. That is if you want to go there. It doesn't seem like you like them all that much." she said, smiling.
"I don't but It's your choice." said Harry.
They ended up walking around for a little longer and then going back to the Dursely's.
When they walked in, no one had been in the house. Kayt and Harry looked around for them until Harry found a note saying:
Harry,
We went to go show Kayt's family around. We'll be back late.
-Uncle Vernon
"Kayt!" Harry yelled up the stairs.
"Yeah?" asked Kayt as she jumped off the last 2 steps and looking at Harry with a soft smile.
"They're out and they'll be back late. I just found this note from my uncle. He's trying so hard to act like he's nice to me all the time." said Harry laughing.
Kayt laughed and ran over to him.
"So..." said Harry.
Kayt ran and jumped onto the couch and then sat down. "Don't ask.... I had a sudden burst of energy."
Harry started laughing and said, "I know what you mean. Hey! Wanna see some funny video's of Dudley! I caught him doing some stupid stuff yesterday!"
"Yeah!" said Kayt, standing up, and following him.
Harry went into his room and opened his little closet. In a dark corner he took out a tape. Kayt and Harry ran down the stairs and Harry put on the video tape. Harry and Kayt sat down and were laughing for a long time when they saw Dudley fall on his ass when he was trying to get a box of cookies out of the closet.
When the video was over, Harry rewound it and ran back up to his room and hid it.
Kayt sat on the floor and watched him lock the closet door. She bit her bottom lip, slightly and walked over to Harry.
"Hey.... umm... Harry... I'm not sure if you've noticed or not... wait... what am i doing?! nevermind." said Kayt turnin around.
Harry knew what she was about to say and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Just tell me." said Harry, smiling at her.
Kayt bit her bottom lip again and leaned in and kissed him.
When it was over Kayt turned bright red and Harry smiled.
He looked up and mumbled "Thank u."
"I shouldn't have done that. I'm really sorry. That was stupid, Kayt." said Kayt, walking towards the door.
"Wait where are you going?" asked Harry walking towards her.
"Back to my house. I'm really sorry about that. I'll get to Hogwarts some how. I won't tell anyone about this and I'll just leave you alone at school." she said looking at him.
"Kayt, you don't need to." said Harry, smiling.
"Huh? What do you mean?" she asked, knowing exactly what was coming next.
"I like you too. I was hoping to tell you tonight. I was going to tell you before Dobby came and said all that sutff." said Harry, rolling his eyes.
Kayt hugged him ad they went downstairs. It was gettin late and they had been watching tv after the kiss. They fell asleep holding hands and they're heads on one another's shoulders.
When the Dursley's came in and saw this, they were astonished. Dudley's mouth dropped open wider then it ever had and Kayt's mom held back a laugh.
Mr. Dursley was outraged and he shook Harry
until he woke up. Kayt opened her eyes the same time Harry did and they sat up.
"Well, I think that's enough for today. It's late. We'll see you tomorrow?" asked Kayt's mom.
"It most certainly is...I mean... why yes... Good night." said Mr. Dursley, putting on a fake smile.
"Goodnight." Kayt whispered into Harry's ear.
Harry smiled back and whispered it back to her.
Kayt went up to her room and fell asleep quickly.
When Kayt woke up the next morning, she started packing for Ron's house. When she was finished, she put everyhting by the door.
"Well, we're going out. Send us letter's sometime." said Eileen with a smile as they left the house and got into the Dursely's car.
Once the Dursley's car was far out of site, Kayt went over to the house with all of her bags and smiled as Harry opened the door.
"hey." he said, letting her in.
"Did you get in trouble last night?" she asked as she set down her stuicase.
"They yelled at me for like an hour. It's not as bad as usual. I think they were just tired, that's why it was so short." said Harry laughing.
"What did they say?" she asked.
"Oh, they were just saying how they wanted me to be normal and nto go back to that school and how u and Dudley should be together. They said that i crossed the line and that they were going to kick me out in the morning. But am i gone? No. I eventually fell asleep so i don't remember much." he said smiling.
At about 12 in the afternoon, there was a knock at the door.
Harry ran to the door and opened it to see Hermione.
"Harry!" said Hermione, giving him a friendly hug.
Kayt walked over and looks at Hermione. She thought she was very pretty.
Hermione looked behind Harry and saw Kayt.
When Harry noticed this, he said "O, Hermione, this is Kayt. Her family doesn't come from magic either so you two now have one thing in common.
Kayt walked up to the door and shook Hermione's hand.
"It's nice to meet you." said Kayt smiling.
"I believe you're coming with us right, Kayt?" asked Hermione.
"Yes. I hope it's not a problem." Kayt said.
"No, not at all. My parents are looking forward to meeting you. I assume Ron's dad is too." said Hermione, chuckling.
"Yea. Ron's dad is so interested in muggles. He wants to know everything about them." said Harry laughing.
"Yes, remember when you taught Ron how to use a telephone and then he taught his dad." said Hermione laughing more.
A car horn honked and Hermione looked back and then turned to Harry and Kayt, "We should get going if we're going to get to Ron's house today."
They took their suitcases out to the car and stuck them in the back. They left and talked the whole ride there.
