Kayt ran after him. She stopped in front of him. "Harry! Stop!"
Harry didn't stop he kept tryin to get past her but he couldn't. He looked at her, his eyes were watery but no tears ran down his face.
"Harry, i'm really sorry." Kayt said looking at his eyes.
Harry just stared at her. There was no true facial expression on his face. He was frowning and he wasn't smiling. It was just blank. "I tried to forget you. But it's impossible."
Kayt listened and her eyes became soft and loving just as Harry used to see them.
"I tried to get around you but I couldn't. Kayt, I love you. But I know you don't love me in return. If you did then this wouldn't be happening." he walked around her and ran up the stairs.
She stood in her spot for a moment. She didn't run after him until she had realized that if he left her now, then he would leave her life forever. She had to tell him. She had to tell him everything.
She ran after him and grabbed his arm again. "Harry..." her voice became faint and it broke as a tear ran down her face. "I love you too."
He looked at her for a moment and smiled. He pulled her close to him and kissed her.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't know what to do. I mean you walked away and wouldn't listen to me and Malfoy was just a way of getting away i guess." she said crying even more.
He took her hand and wiped the tears from her face as he used to before any of this happened.
Malfoy came up the stairs and saw them.
Kayt looked up at him.
"Excuse me, Potter. Kayt's mine now." Malfoy said walking up and seperated their hands. He held Kayt's hand.
Kayt pulled it away. "Actually, Malfoy, I'm not. You see, Harry here actually went in the water. Unlike you who didn't want to go into the lake. Shows how much you love me."
Malfoy looked at her. His mouth dropped. "Fine. You go with Potter then. I don't need you."
He stormed back down stairs to his common room.
Kayt and Harry smiled at each other as they went upstairs.
Kayt was so busy looking at Harry that she accidently tripped over the trick step. She froze in her spot.
"Oh....my....god..." Kayt muttered.
"What is it?" asked Harry.
"It's gone."
"What's gone?"
"The necklace!"
"Malfoy..."
They ran down the stairs and after Malfoy. He hadn't gone into the common room yet. Instead he sat outside it, holding the necklace. When he heard someone coming he hid it in his uniform.
"Give me the necklace, Malfoy." Kayt said.
"What necklace?" he asked innocently.
Kayt put her had out and watched the necklace fly out of his pocket. She stopped it in mid air right in front of his face. "This necklace."
He tried to grab it but she brought it to her and held it tightly in her hand. "That was dumb. You should know that I know more then you do."
She walked away with Harry and up the stairs to their dorms.
They fell asleep and slept pretty wel that night.
The next day was darker then any usual day. It was raining and cold.
Harry woke up and smiled. He staired at the top of his bed. He got changed into his school uniform.
He tried to fix his hair as he walked down to the common room. When get down there he saw everyone in Gryffindor house just sitting there. They all had a scared look on their faces.
Harry walked over to Hermione and Ron. "Hey." He looked over the crowd for Kayt.
"Where's Kayt. She's usually down here before us." Harry said curiously.
"Harry, there's something you should know." Hermione said quietly.
Harry turned to her quickly. "What happened to her?!"
"That's the thing. We don't know. No one knows. Some students were down here with her and said that she just walked out. They said ti wasn't her but it sure did look like her. Teacher's have already been here and saw that she wasn't in her room." Ron added.
Harry tore through the crowd and back up the stairs into Kayt's dorm.
He slid under her bed and grabbed the notebook. He staired at it. It was real. He opened to the page he had read in his dream. It was exactly what it was like in his dream. He turned to the last entry. It said:
A whole mess happened today. Malfoy made out with me and were together for a whole hour since Harry and I broke up. Then later on we got back together. Malfoy went out with me just to get the necklace.
Tonight is my last night as a servant of my leader. I love Harry and I don't want to hurt him. I know he's going to read this. Harry, please don't come to change me. Don't come to find me. I'll be fine. I love you too much to hurt you. Just forget me. I really do love you.
Well I can't write anymore. My master will be angered with me if he finds out that I let Harry know he may die. I just ruined his plan.

Harry dropped the notebook just as he did in the dream. He picked it up and ran down stairs. He didn't care what Kayt said. He would die for her and he had proven that last night. He would do anything just so she would live.
He ran out of the common room. He ran past the Professor's blocking the door. Something was dragging him in the direction of the end of a hall.
He stopped in front of the dead end. He staired at it and suddenly saw a door appear on the wall and two green eyes. He wasn't moving but the next thing he knew, he was inside the room.
