Harry woke up the next morning and put on his clothes. He grabbed his Firebolt and ran downstairs. He flew around the feild for a little while and he flew down when he saw a line of pple starting to form for the try outs.
Harry yawned as he saw Katie Bell walk voer to him.
"Need any help?" she asked.
"Yeah. U wanna make sure i stay awake? I'll need ur help choosin someone too. I don't know what i'm doing." Harry said as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
Katie and Harry took a seat in the stands and watched all of the students try out. Some were very good and others did horribly. But when Harry saw Ron walk up on the feild, his mouth just dropped.
"Hey, Harry. Hey, Katie." Ron said, lookin nervous.
He tried out and must have missed almost every single goal that was shot at him. Harry didn't want to tell him that he was really bad and he knew Ron didn't make the team.
"I'll see u later, Harry. Bye." Ron yelled as he walked away.
Harry and Katie waved and once he was out of site they started laughin hysterically.
"I shouldn't be laughin at my best friend." said Harry gasping for breath.
"He knew how bad he did." Katie said, relaxing now.
There was a long pause and they waited for another person to come up nd try out.
"Next!" screamed Katie with lots of energy.
Harry got up and walked around to the side. He didn't see anyone and satrted to turn back to Katie when he heard someone yellin his name. He turned bac around to see Kayt.
"Harry! Wait!" Kayt said as she ran over to him.
"Kayt, are you trying out?" Harry asked, looking at the broom in her hand.
"No, I came down here to watch my broom fly without me. Of course i am." she said with a smile.
"Great." he said hugging her back. "Well, come on. Katie's here so you can meet her."
"Ok." she said with a smile on her face and her arm on his shoulders.
Kayt started her try out and she did spectacular from the start. She didn't miss one goal. Katie's mouth dropped and just stared at Harry when she was finished.
Kayt landed and looked up. "I have to get to the Great Hall. Are you coming, Harry?"
"Yea, I'll be there a little late though. So you should just go now." Harry replied, looking at some papers.
"Alright, I'll see you guys later. Bye." Kayt said as she ran to the Great Hall.
"Harry, what school did you say she went to?" asked Katie.
"Well i don't think i said anything about her old school and i really don't know." said Harry.
"I hope u're picking Kayt as the new keeper. She is obviously the best one out of all of the students who tried out." Katie explained.
"Yea, it's just i hope Ron won't hate me." Harry said lookin up at her.
"I think he'll be alright. Like i said before, he know show bad he did." Katie said looking out into the feild.
"Well i better go tell Professor Dumbledore who i chose." said Harry, gettin the papers together and walking away.
He walked into the great hall and right up to Professor Dumbledore. He walked back over to the table and noticed Kayt was gone.
"Where's Kayt?" Harry asked in a sort of panic.
"Her and Hermione went to the bathroom." Ron replied, calming him down.
"Ok. Wait. In Myrtle's bathroom?"
"Yea. They're planning something. They were plannin it before but then i was sort of 'buding in' as they would say. So they went to bathroom."
"O god, Kayt and Hermione. Planning somethin..... together? How could u let them do that, Ron?" Harry said jokingly.
Right as he had said that Kayt and Hermione came up behind Harry and Ron and hugged them.
"Of course it's a bad thing." Kayt said with a slight laugh.
So what's up?" Hermione asked them.
"What'd you plan?" asked Harry.
"Oh nothing. Nothing at all." said Kayt holding back a laugh.
Ron stared down Hermione until the point where he started laughing so much because of the look on her face.
Kayt started laughing as she looked at Hermione. She didn't know what exactly was going on. But it didn't matter.
"Oh, Ron, I have to tell you that you didn't make the team." Harry said.
"Thank you! I was being teased by Fred and George and i know i did horribly. Thank you for not choosing me!" Ron said thankfully.
Professor Dumbledore stood up and quieted down the Great Hall. "The new keeper for the Gryffindor Quidditch team has been chosen. Congratulations to Kaitlin Supple."
The whole Gryffindor table screamed in joy and Kayt just looked at Harry as her face turned bright red.
He smiled back and she just hugged him.
The Great Hall calmed down and after a little while longer, they walked up to the common room. When they walked in, everyone was having a party and there were Fred and George flirting with Katie Bell and Angelina.
That had to be the best night Kayt had at Hogwarts ever since she arrived.
