UNIVERSAL QUERY ENGINE

FOR OFFICE 2000
AND OFFICE XP:

UNIVERSAL QUERY ENGINE For Office 2000-XP With Oracle

Lets you import data into Excel from Access, SQL Server, Oracle and Outlook without any ODBCs. Comes zipped with a database for backing up Outlook contacts into Access or pulling data entered into Access into a new or existing Outlook Contacts folder.

UNIVERSAL QUERY ENGINE 2000-XP.xls (Without Oracle)

Use this version with Office 2000 or Office XP if you don't have Oracle. Import from Access SQL Server or Outlook.

FOR OFFICE 97:

UNIVERSAL QUERY ENGINE FOR OFFICE 97 WITH ORACLE

This version doesn't contain the Outlook portion because Outlook wasn't programmable in Office 97.

UNIVERSAL QUERY ENGINE FOR OFFICE 97 WITHOUT ORACLE

Doesn't contain the Outlook or Oracle. Used with Access or SQL Server only.

A query Engine for pulling data into Excel from your choice of Access, SQL Server, Oracle and Outlook.

There are four versions. Office 97 with Oracle, 97 without Oracle, Office 2000-Office XP with or without Oracle.

It combines Excel VBA, DAO, ADO and SQL to run queries from Excel into various Databases. Includes other utilities, like a Cookie cleaner, file search application.

For the best results, download the appropriate version - If you don't have Oracle access on your machine, using the versions with Oracle will adversely affect other functions as well.

DOCUMENT ANALYZER.doc


This is an analytical tool for word documents.

It lets you run macros, batch processes, pull data from your choice of Access tables. Gather info on various word docs. Analyze documents pictures, tables, groups, shapes, embedded objects, word, pages, characters, fonts, etc. It's pretty large so it's zipped for download.

MULTI WORD SEARCH ENGINE.doc


This is a tool that lets you search documents in a folder for various search words then creates a table with hyperlinks to those documents. If the documents contain an E-mail address or Phone number they list them in the table as well.

The tool is especially good for recruiters who want to search folders for word resumes containing several search words like, Java, Corba, and Visual Basic.
GRADING SYSTEM.xls

Run from Excel, this is for teachers who want to calculate students grades.

It lets them customize the types of projects they'll be using like Quizzes, Papers, Tests and assign a percentage of a grade. It also lets them determine number conversion for Letter grades and total all projects into a final grade average.

ACCESS FIND AND REPLACE DATABASE.mdb

This is used for batch processing find and replacements in word documents.

It lets you choose a folder, then find and replace several words of every document in the folder.

It also has an option of tracking the documents name, time run, find and replacements in an Access table made specifically for that purpose. NOTE: You have to download the Access database as well and keep it in the same folder as the Find and Replace document if you want to use this feature.

Searches a chosen folder for All files or files with a specific extension then creates a table with hyperlinks to those files.
I use it to list my MP3 collection.
